How to boot into Safe Mode when using Windows 10

I have had a few problems with my laptop that it would not boot up so normally you would press the F8 key to get into the options menu to select Safe Mode but you cannot do this from Windows 8 onwards.

The simplest way I found to boot into Safe Mode was to boot the machine up to the Windows splash screen and then turn the machine off by the power button repeat this 3 times and on the fourth boot it will give you the options for Safe Mode and you can use the F keys to select your option.
